The chair leaving alarm system is air operated and monitors the change in pressure on the mat when an individual gets out of a chair. This can be invaluable in alerting staff or carers to an individual who is unaware of the risks that getting up can represent. Typically these are people with reduced cognitive function or dementia. The Mat alerts when an individual get's out of the chair. The mat connects to a control box with a discreet air pipe which measures the body pressure change and sends an alert to the nurse call system. This equipment is connected to the Medicare radio nurse call system via socket 1 of a HTM6001 call point or any of the HTM6500 series range.
