Nurse Call - Detection

The protection of vulnerable residents is a serious concern to all care establishments.

We supply a range of products that link to the nurse call system and have been designed to alert care staff to potential problems without interfering with the residents rights.

Vulnerable exit doors can be monitored and an alarm raised on the nurse call system if the door is opened. These monitors can be turned off by using a key when required. When turned on the door location and an emergency alert will be sent to the nurse call displays to ensure a rapid response to protect the resident.

We also supply pressure mats which will alert staff as soon as the resident leaves their bed. Chair and bed sensors are also available for alerting staff to residents who are leaving their location but may require help to prevent a fall.

Wet bed, falls and epilepsy alerts

In order to minimise the discomfort and the indignity of a wet bed, we provide a simple, discreet monitor that detects moisture and quickly alerts staff via the nurse call system. These monitors are easy to use and simply plug into the Medicare nurse call unit.

For residents that are prone to falling we provide a fall detection monitor. This device alerts staff in the event that a resident falls, displaying an emergency call on the nurse call system. 

These monitors are ideal for use in bedrooms and corridors where a resident is at risk of falling without being seen.

Our epilepsy sensors are ideal for alerting staff that a resident is experiencing a fit. The discreet detector removes the need for regular intrusive checks on the resident during the night.
